About Our Law Office

Alexis Lucero is a native of El Paso, Texas. As such, he holds the Southwestern desert, its people, and its culture close to his heart. As the son of parents from Mexico, he understands the complexities of the immigrant community and the often traumatic reasons why many leave their homes for the United States.

Alexis earned his Juris Doctor degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. From there, Alexis returned to the Borderland in 2014 to begin his journey as an Immigration Defense Attorney, representing non-citizens facing complex removal proceedings, both in detained and non-detained settings, before the Immigration Court.

His unique perspective reflects his experience representing individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds—from those fleeing violence across Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, and other parts of the world to those simply seeking an experienced counselor to help them navigate the U.S. immigration system.
